Important Travel Information

05 March 2021

The current, ongoing situation in the world is causing frequent travel disruptions due to flight cancellations caused by airline schedule changes, border closures, and ever-changing entry restrictions of various countries. As always, BoundlessMiles is committed to assisting all of our valued clients in these difficult times. We’ll work with you, quickly and efficiently, so you’re able to travel should your plans need modification - all award flight requests already booked remain valid unless you have been otherwise contacted by us or the airline. It is important to note, however, that you may no longer be permitted to travel to a country or destination on your original booking - please familiarize yourself with the current travel restrictions.

Flight Modifications and Cancellations

Airlines are waiving change (and in some cases cancellation) fees for already booked travel; rules and policies vary by airline and therefore it is recommended you simply reach out to your BoundlessMiles advisor should you need to change or cancel your trip - we’ll be glad to go over your options. If the airline notifies us about a change in your travel plans, we’ll let you know.

In the event you are unable to receive a refund to your original method(s) of payment for a flight booking, you will likely retain the value of your un-flown ticket as a future flight credit with the issuing airline(s). These credits usually expire one year from the original date of issue, however, some airlines are extending the validity of these vouchers. We’ll help you cancel the current itinerary, save the voucher, and rebook your flights in the future.

Entry Restrictions

A large number of countries have imposed entry restrictions - some have banned entry for those who are not citizens or residents. Every country has published their own policies and therefore it is recommended you periodically check the current requirements as these can be modified at short notice.

Airport transit rules and regulations have also changed - it may no longer be possible to connect flights in certain countries (even if you are not entering that country). It is ultimately the traveler’s responsibility for fulfilling entry and transit requirements for every country on their itinerary.

We understand the past year has been challenging for everyone and therefore we are dedicated to ensuring your travel plans are as smooth as possible. We’ll assist with any requests or inquiries you may have so you can fly with ease - and if your flight is cancelled or needs to be changed, a new itinerary will be sent to your Inbox within hours (subject to the current airline award availability). Together, we'll discover the world again.

fly safe,
